TGL Industrial Services – Staffing Agency is currently seeking a Buyer – Contract Management (Mining Sector) for one of its clients located in the Sudbury area. Upon receipt of your application, it will be reviewed, and you will be contacted if your profile matches the requirements.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage the full procurement cycle (requisition, tendering, negotiation, award)
  • Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, delivery timelines, contractual clauses)
  • Draft, review, and administer supplier contracts
  • Ensure proper follow-up of contractual agreements and compliance with obligations
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain long-term relationships
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
  • Identify cost reduction and optimization opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Participate in contract risk management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in administration, procurement, operations management, or a related field
  • Experience in purchasing and contract management (preferably in an industrial or mining environment)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of contractual and legal considerations
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and organizational skills
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Bilingualism required (French and English, spoken and written)
