TGL Industrial Services – Staffing Agency is regularly looking for a Geologist for one of its clients located in Nunavut. Upon receiving your application, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted if your profile matches our needs.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Log drill core descriptions using the appropriate software
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports
• Prepare and participate in building data consolidation files
• Ensure compliance with health & safety (H&S), environmental standards, and other applicable operational procedures
• Perform any other related tasks required for the successful completion of the project

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Hold a university degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
• Be a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec
• Have relevant experience in the field
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to exploration and mining sites
• Ability to work independently
• Strong initiative

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Variable schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (14/14)
• Fly-in / Fly-out (FIFO)
• Salary to be discussed based on experience
